Results of the Survey
In order to get a better understanding of chili’s guest experience, we asked respondents how often they encounter certain problems while dining out. Overall, we found that guests experience a wide variety of issues, but the most commonly reported problems are with regard to waitstaff or the cleanliness of the restaurant.
While these results may not come as a surprise, it is still useful information to have and can help Chili’s improve its service quality. Here are the top five problem areas identified in our survey:
1. Waitstaff – Guests feel that waitstaff is not responsive or helpful.
2. Cleanliness – Guests feel that restaurants are not clean enough and that food/drinks sit on tables for too long before being served.
3. Food/Drinks – Guests report that food is cold or unsatisfying, and that drinks are not refilled quickly enough.
4. Noise Levels – Guests feel that the restaurant is too noisy or uncomfortable to fully enjoy their meal.
5. Customer Service – Guests feel like customer service is unprofessional or unhelpful
